article-bisnow1HALBERDIER Real Estate co-founder/managing partner Trey Halberdier recently announced the launch of The HALBERDIER Development Partners division, essentially making the burgeoning company go vertical. It also just purchased its first note (a retail property), making it a servicer of debt. It continues to be a major player in what Trey calls “the ExxonMobil Impact Radius,” having already positioned itself for the coming of the mega corp three years before its announced arrival.
This calculated risk allowed HALBERDIER to get into significant positions in center field and catch a slew of new projects: 100k SF of office space at the intersection of I-45 and Hardy; 250k SF of value office on the Hardy toll road (near the ExxonMobil entrance), a 50-acre industrial flex development park on Hardy (close to Exxon), and a 100-acre mixed-use development just south of Coventry’s Springwoods. And there’s more growth to come.
